It is evident during a new academic year, the teachers will have a new batch of students. Teachers have to support the students in adapting to their teaching techniques so that they learn the new subjects quickly.
This is a serious concern not only restricted to professional life but has become a big issue in academic life too. Teachers must learn to work smarter. Any nonessential activity must be eliminated. It would be appropriate to consolidate the time spend replying to emails, doing least paperwork, etc.
In a highly competitive environment, it becomes difficult to build relationships and sustain friendships. Keep the competition aside. Communicating with colleagues, sharing a laugh with them could do wonders for your well being. It would help you to be more engaged at work.
The role and functioning of schools are transforming and so is the expectations of teachers. Teachers will have to work in multicultural classrooms. They have to be effective in using information technologies for teaching, engaging more in planning, attending workshops/conferences, networking with other teachers, etc. Teachers will face various challenges throughout their career and they have to always maintain a high standard.
Effective professional development is a continuous process, including training, practice, and feedback. Successful programs include teachers in learning functions that are comparable to ones they would use with their students. Teachers must constantly improve their skills and knowledge.
Any graduate could apply for teachers job in private CBSE schools. The selection criteria vary from school to school. Some prominent schools need Experience Certificate, TET Certificate, or B.Ed Qualification. Hence, it would be prudent to go through the selection criteria of each school.
In order to secure a Teacher job in the Government school, it is necessary to qualify in B.Ed with TET entrance exam.
