Your physical appearance would definitely be noticed by the interviewers. Hence, ensure you are well-dressed and properly groomed. Your objective should be to blend in and look the part of the job that you want to fill.
Have a firm handshake
Handshakes in a way are a reflection of your personality. Hence, your grip should be firm. You should also be smiling and making friendly eye contact.
Be careful about your manners
Being punctual is important. Ask for permission before you take your seat. Focus completely on the interview and do not get distracted. Unless you are being interviewed for an extremely classified job, taking notes would be viewed as a positive sign by the employer. You would be demonstrating your interest in teaching.
Being natural during the teaching interview is important. Hiring managers could sense if you are delivering a prepared response. While you are replying to questions, be honest and your genuineness would be appreciated.
